Walking, running and jogging are allowed on all sections of the Green Circle State Trail. The surface of the trail varies by section and can be crushed stone, asphalt, wood chips, boardwalks, sidewalks or roadways.
Schmeeckle Reserve is the trail headquarters and parking and rest rooms are available. The entrance is on North Point Drive near Interstate 39. About 1.4 miles of the Green Circle Trail runs through the northern part of the reserve. Remember that pets are not allowed in the Schmeeckle Reserve.
